| Organic Diet Improves Breastmilk Quality |
|
The British Journal of Nutrition has published a study that provides irrefutable evidence that organic milk, vegetables and meat all have a positive influence on the health of breastfeeding mothers and their children. Levels of antioxidants, vitamin E, beta carotene and omega-3 fatty acids (which may be significant in reducing the incidence of cancer, arthritis, heart disease and asthma) were significantly increased in the breastmilk of mothers on an organic diet.
